The Midwives work alongside our GPs on Tuesday afternoons at the Ante Natal Clinic at Willingham Surgery and at Longstanton Surgery Wednesday mornings. They are also available via the Rosie Hospital on 01223 217629. The midwives work with the doctors to provide care for mothers before and after delivery and care for the baby in the first few weeks after birth. They also run antenatal classes in preparation for parenthood.
The District Nurses visit and provide nursing treatment and advice to the housebound.

All dispensary staff are fully qualified and work closely as a team with the doctors and nurses. We have a dedicated telephone line to the dispensary and all medication queries and repeat prescription requests are dealt with by using your computerised drug records. They can advise or refer you to a doctor or nurse if necessary.
