Welcome to Willingham Medical Practice

COVID-19

Please see our Latest News Page for important information about the surgery during the Pandemic, as well as links to useful resources and support services.

With patients' needs at the heart of everything we do, our website has been designed to make it easy for you to gain instant access to the information you need. As well as specific practice details such as opening hours and how to register, you’ll find useful pages covering a range of health issues and useful links.

Get Well, Keep Well

Of course we’re not just here for when you are unwell. Our team of healthcare professionals and back-up staff offer a number of clinics and services to promote good health and wellbeing whatever your medical condition.

Dispensing

We are a dispensing practice, with dispensing facilities at both Willingham and Longstanton.  We have an on-site pharmacy, which is located at the front of the Willingham Surgery.  Our premises have suitable disabled access.

Access & Parking

The surgery has been designed to allow full access to those with disabilities, including wheelchair access.

There is parking in front of both surgeries.  Please drive carefully during access and parking.  The spaces immediately in front of the building are intended for disabled patients/emergency vehicles/doctors and staff.  Please respect these spaces.

IMPORTANT NOTICE - BLOOD TESTS

A supplier to the NHS has advised us of a global shortage of some equipment used for taking blood tests.

Anyone who needs a test for urgent health problems, will still get one but where your clinician recommends that it’s safe to do so, then you may be asked to come back for a test at a later date, or your appointment may be rescheduled.

Given the nature of the shortage, we cannot give an exact date for when the test will be rescheduled, but please be assured that if your condition or symptoms require it, then you will get a test, and we will be re-booking your test when supplies become more easily available.

If your condition or symptoms change or get worse, please contact the NHS as you would normally.

Doctorlink connects you to local NHS services, allowing you to check your symptoms confidentially online, 24/7, and book face to face appointments with your own GP, when you need them.
